军旅书画艺术家谭晓明艺术简历

谭晓明，字启发，男，汉族，研究生，1965年生于中国四川彭州，1983年入伍，现任中国人民解放军成都军区战旗文工团政治委员、上校军衔。系中国国画院副院长、北京京华兰亭书画院副院长、香港国际羲之书画院名誉院长、美国世界艺术家协会会员、美国亚洲文化中心特约国际明星艺术家、中国名家书画院名誉院长、中国书画家协会理事、世界华人交流协会理事、中国文艺协会会员、解放军美术书法研究院成都军区分院会员、中国书法美术家艺术创作中心终身荣誉教授、一级书画师。

近年来,在中国各类报刊杂志发表作品400多幅，部分作品作为国礼赠送给世界各国领导人收藏。数次入选国内外各类展览并获奖，部分作品入编《中国书画名家精品集》、《第二届海内外书画名家精品集》、《中国书画收藏大典》、《中国书画名家邀请展作品集》、《中国书画艺术》、《中美旧金山中国书画国际大奖赛获奖作品集》等国家级大型艺术典籍，被世界书画家协会欧洲总部、国际统一出版社等五家单位联合授予中国实力派书画家称号；被美国亚洲文化中心授予国际明星艺术家称号；被国际工笔重彩画研究院、新加坡艺术协会、岭南国画研究协会联合授予国际知名艺术家称号；被中国慈善总会、中国交通部、文化部、外交部书画研究会等十家单位联合授予华夏慈善书画艺术家称号；被国际书画艺术家资格认证中心、中国书画美术家艺术创作中心授予中国百强书画家和著名书画家称号；被中国香港书法美术家艺术创作中心、香港书画杂志社评为中国书画行业拔尖人才；艺术简历被收录进《世界名人录》《世界优秀专家大词典》；个人在国内出版有《谭晓明花鸟画集》、《百年奥运中国传奇》专题纪念邮票、《中国书画百杰》邮政明信片；在美国发行《谭晓明艺术作品邮票》和《谭晓明花鸟画美国巡展作品集》并举行作品巡展；被世界各国和国内军地报刊、杂志和中国中央电视台多次宣传报道。

A Brief Introduction to the Artwork of Military Calligrapher and Painter Tan Xiaoming

Tan Xiaoming, called Qifa, which means “to edify,” is a male of graduate of the Han nationality. Born in 1965， in Pengzhou, Sichuan Province, China, he entered the military in 1983. He currently holds the rank of Colonel and is the political commissar of Chengdu Military Region War Flag Troup of the People’s Liberation Army of China. He is also the Vice Director of the Chinese National Painting Academy (Hong Kong), the Vice Director of Capital Lanting Calligraphy and Painting in Beijing and the Honorary Director of the International Academy Xizhi Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Hong Kong.  He is a member of the International Fine Artists Association (IFAA) and an international star artist especially engaged by the America Asian Culture Center (AACC). Tan is the Honorary Director of the Academy for Renowned Chinese Calligraphers and Painters. He serves as a council member of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Association and the World Chinese Interchanging Association. He is a member of the Chinese Society for Culture and Art, the Chengdu Military Region Branch of the Liberation Army Artistic Calligraphy Research Institute, and the Sichuan Artists’ Association. Being a first-class calligrapher, he has been bestowed the title of Tenured-Honorary Professor by Creative Arts Center for Chinese Artists and Calligraphers.

n recent years, more than 400 pieces of his masterpieces have received national attention in periodicals, journals, newspapers, and magazines.  A portion of those have been offered as ceremonial gifts by the state to domestic and foreign leaders for collection. Several of his masterpieces are selected for domestic and foreign exhibitions and awarded winning works of art.  A portion of his works have already appeared in highly regarded national publications such as The Essential Works of Chinese Painting and Calligraphic Masters, The Essential Works of Famous Chinese Calligraphers and Painters in China and Abroad, and The Great Canon Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy. He was jointly awarded the title of master painter in the Strength School of Chinese painting by the European headquarter of the World Calligrapher and Painter Association, the International Unity Publishing House, and five other organizations. What’s more, he was warded international star artist by the America Asian Culture Center (AACC). He was bestowed the title of Artist of International Renown by the International Institute of Brushwork and Painting, the Art Association of Singapore, and the Lingnan Research Association of National Painting. He was honored with the title of Cathay Charitable Painter of China by China’s Central Bureau of Charitable Associations, the Department of Transportation, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and ten other research and government organizations.  He has been recognized as one of the top One Hundred Most Influential Calligraphers and Painters by the Painting & Calligraphy Artist Qualification Certification Centre and the Creative Arts Center for Chinese Artists and Calligraphers.  He was similarly acclaimed as “the foremost talent” of China’s painting and calligraphy industry by Center for Artistic Creation and the Artists Association of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Calligraphy & Painting magazine.  A biography and introduction to his artwork is included in the World Anthology of Famous People and the World Encyclopedia of the Outstanding Specialists. In China, he has published A Collection of the Floral and Avian Paintings of Tan Xiaoming, a commemorative stamp collection entitled, “A Hundred Years of China’s Olympic Miracles,” and a series of postcards entitled, “One Hundred Exemplars of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy.”  In America, he has distributed a series of stamps of his representative masterpieces and a companion volume to his international traveling exhibit entitled, The Floral and Avian Paintings of Tan Xiaoming from the International Traveling Exhibit.  His artwork has been displayed in traveling exhibits in Dallas, New York, Boston, and Los Angeles and has been covered many times in magazines, newspapers, periodicals, journals, and by China Central Television.
